How It's Calculated
Each day, we record every tracked sector's 24-hour change (the same data Top Sectors uses). This indicator then ranks sectors by their average daily change across the last 7 stored days, once a real 7 days of history has accumulated - a 2 or 3-day average is never silently labeled as a 7-day read.
How This Differs From Top Sectors
Top Sectors answers "what's leading right now." This answers "what's been consistently strong all week." A sector can spike for a single day without appearing here, or grind steadily upward all week without topping today's leaderboard.
Why It Matters
Distinguishes a narrative with real, sustained rotation behind it from one single volatile day of price action.

Computed by The Crypto Playback from CoinGecko sector data already fetched every 15 minutes - one new day of history is recorded once per day. Refreshed automatically every 15 minutes.
